  • I made a new recipe tonight. Sausage bread! It was amazing.

1 lb bulk pork sausage (hot or mild)
    - 1/2 c onion and bell peppers, chopped
    2 tbs minced garlic
    - 1/4 c parmesan cheese
    - 1 egg beaten
    - 1/4 tsp tabasco sauce (I used siracha)
    - 1/2 tsp salt - 2 Tbsp fresh flat leaf parsley
    - 2 c bisquick baking mix
    - 2/3 c milk
    - 1/4 c mayonnaise
    - 1 egg yolk to brush on top
    - 1/2 c swiss cheese, shredded (I used mature cheddar)

Brown meat with onions, pepper and garlic. Drain well. Mix with all other ingredients except egg yolk. Pour into greased 8 in pan. Brush with egg yolk. Bake 35 mins at 350.
