  • Gosh! Good thing I'm not superstitious! I'll pick up a penny regardless if it's heads or tails. I kill crickets in the house. The foot of my bed faces the bedroom door. Just opened up a yellow ducky umbrella in the house cuz my son wanted to play with it. His shoes are sitting on my dining table as we speak. I always sweep towards the door too. Gee, maybe I should BECOME superstitious because my life ain't so great. lol Other ones I've heard of is: if you spill salt, take a pinch and throw it over your left shoulder. If you come in one door of your house, make sure you go out the same door. Always step out the door leading with your right foot. If a black cat crosses in front of your car, make 3 x's on the windshield. If someone hands you an opened pocket knife, hand it back to them opened. Don't play with your shadow. If you reach for a second piece of bread when you already have one, somebodys coming to your house hungry.

  • Wow! Awesome ones. I never knew about crickets, but I tend not to kill bugs unless they are REALLY creepy. a cricket would never qualify, in fact we had one just live in our basement for years. We knock on wood when ever you say something that hasn't happened and you don't want it to. I live by the umbrella one to. I really like the not washing new clothes ones. Any others?
