When you lose weight do you buy new clothes or dig out of your closet?

I do both. I love going shopping for new clothes in smaller sizes but I also love digging out stuff I haven't worn in forever. I sometimes make it a goal to fit into one of my old outfits.

  • Both. Last time, the skinny stuff in my closet didn't fit (they were too BIG) so I had to go out and buy new items!

  • I am currently trying to fit into the stuff in my closet, but I will be buying some new pants for work soon and that makes me happy.

  • I've lost so much weight that if I bought new clothes when I needed to, I'd have bought a new wardrobe 5 times - went from a size 18, currently in an 8 which is getting too big. Lucky for me I had a couple of friends who were smaller than me and lost some weight who gave me their clothes all the way through size 10. When I hit my goal weight, then I will buy new clothes, until then, I make do with what I have!

  • I saved a few favorite pieces from when I was thinner, so I have a mix of new and old. I love getting back into something i haven't worn in years! Plus, shopping for new clothes is fun, especially when they're SMALLER!!

  • Both. But I didn't know I had some old clothes from about 5 years ago. Still super cute actually. Last night I found out they fit! SO yay!
For me- I just can't spare the money on buying too many new clothes. But I'm so sick of dressing baggy. I want to dress up!
