my daughter is 7 months old. she has 4 teeth with more coming in. she will not sleep for more than a hour at a time during the night. this is causing both of us to sleep horribly and i am sleeping on the couch with her at night causing a horrible habit for her. any ideas on what i can do?? i have given her Tylenol/Motrin, orajel, mylicon for gas, hyland's, oatmeal a bit before she goes to bed. nothing is helping!!!!!

  • try taking a binkie and putting it in water. squeeze the nipple part so it fills with water and freezing it.

  • or try teething tablets.. if nothing works i would see a pediatrician to see if its something else. she may have a food allergy.

  • are you giving her naps in the after noon? if so may be you should cut them short or not at all for now play with her more so she will stay up and be really tired at night. dont stay on the couch all night once she falls asleep put her in her bed. sounds like you have been giving her to many things to eat and to many different medicines you should stick to only one kind. you could give her a warm bath and dress her up warm then put her right to bed.
