In my house I don't feed a lot of junk. Usually lol. Sometimes we fall off the band wagon, but usually we do pretty well.
I babysit 3 kids who are fabulous children and we get along great in every aspect except that they won't eat ANYTHING I make. One of them will sometimes eat peanut butter and jelly. They like smoothies... as long as I make them with flavored yogurt (I usually do plain to avoid the extra sugar). But that's, like, it. They don't like healthy, whole foods, they like junk. And I'm not willing to feed my family junk on their behalf.
I'm not one to judge what they feed their kids at home. They're great parents and the kids are well taken care of. But I just want to feed my family healthier.
I need some snack ideas for these children. Something that is healthy enough to feed my family and tasty enough to feed them. I've tried fresh fruit, whole grain muffins, whole grain pasta... I even had pizza the other day and they wouldn't eat that! WTH? lol.
