How long is too late to send a thank you note for a gift?

  • I'd say anytime is better than not sending one at all. I'd by pleasantly surprised if I received a "late" thank you note!

  • I would say you should send a thank you note within the first two to three weeks, any thing after a month is to late.

  • It's never too late. It is better to send it sooner so the giver knows you received it, but rather than no thank you at all, a late one is better.
