Sorry I'm even wasting my time on this...but do you wonder WHY people write to inmates or any other criminal?

We all know he's guilty.

  • What? Where did this come from?

My guess is that he still has family members - as do most inmates. Knowing that they are guilty of a crime doesn't erase them from their mother/father/sister/aunts/grandparents/etc,'s life.

  • Oh, no...this is NOT a family memeber. That is what is so weird.

  • Well, your OP is devoid of any information, so how was anyone to know that it's not a family member? I was just trying to be nice and give you an answer. People are going to have no idea what you're talking about (I didn't) because you don't give any information in your OP.

  • Because they're "safe" - women can feed their savior complex and try to fix them without the actual inconvenience of a real day to day relationship.
