to much of any vitamen will damage your liver or kidney or both if you take to much over a period of time. Like energy drinks are high in B vitmens and well if you consume several a day for weeks on end you can do damage
B vitamins are water-soluble so whatever is extra will simply be flushed out compared to fat-soluble vitamins whereby too much can be toxic. However, you still need to be aware ... too much niacin, for example, will cause a flush. Please note that the current guidelines are much lower than what your body needs so you won't OD on them. And wheresthewayout's comment about too much over a period of time is total crap. My kids both take vitamins (plenty of B vitamins) prescribed by their DAN doc - it's been many years now - and they are not suffering from any kind of liver or kidney damage.
