Whats a good source of protein to eat after a workout?

I am just trying to figure out something suitable to eat after a workout. I'm new to working out and working on getting healthier for myself and my family.

  • When my husband was working out on a regular basis, he made himself a protein shake. He bought some kind of powder stuff at GNC and mixed it with peanut butter, soy milk, frozen bananas.

  • Grilled chicken, tuna with boiled eggs in it, eggs in general and protein shakes work well too. Just make sure you get a good one. Do some research before just buying any protein shake.

  • I will also add greek yogurt as it contains a ton of protein...I can't stomach it, so I eat regular yogurt, or even peanut butter as it is also chock full of protein.

  • Nuts have good natural protein as well as dairy and eggs.
