Container vegetable gardens: what do YOU plant?

  • depends on how big your container is really. tomatoes, peppers, herbs are all easy. things like cucumbers and squash is a little trickier. I don't do this, but I see alot of older people do mostly tomatoes and peppers on their patios or porches.

  • I do the above, but I recently started looking into the idea of straw bale gardening..it is interesting..google it.

  • My mother plants tomatos, okra, and onions in one plastic container. I would have never thought it would work but it does! If you read gardening by the foot you can grow anything in a small area.

    i've never done vegs of any kind, anywhere, but i thought i might tackle some tomatoes this year.
