  • Most women get .5 to 1 ounce combined with one pumping session. So, you are a MILKY momma.

  • I use to pump a few times a day but I turned into a cow! LOL and it was just too much so I just nurse now and pump when I need too. Mines 7 months so she drinks A LOT more then at 3 months old.

  • I pump 3 times a day at work. I get about 9oz the first time, 4 - 6oz the second time, and 4 - 6 the third time.

  • Well, regardless. Babies are notoriously better at getting milk out than a pump. There are moms that nurse 3 y/o's that can't get more than an ounce per session.

  • My youngest is 4 years, lol, but thinking back to my oldest, I could pump an 8oz bottle in one session already when whe was just a few weeks old, even after she ate - and then she could eat some more right away and be satisfied. I felt like a cow with her. I wasn't that productive with any of my other babies!

  • I pump once in awhile like when we are out somewhere and I need to feed him, I rather pump and give him a bottle. I usually get 4-5 ounces.
With my daughter I pumped more exclusively and occasionally nursed and I would get 8-10 ounces with each pump session and I would have to pump every 3 hours..even thru the night.
WIth my first son, hard to remember but I think I pumped about 8 ounces with him too.
