Is it normal for a nursing baby to not eat a whole lot when moms not home?

Most times when I get home a few hours later her grandmother says she wouldn't eat just slept the whole time.

  • yeah that is pretty normal. most bf babaies do not like the bottle, would rather mom. Mine did that at daycare but I nursed during my lunch hour.

  • Yep. Normal. Just let her nurse all night and she will be fine.

  • Yup. Babies tend to like boobs the best, even if breastmilk is available via bottle. As long as you're letting her nurse as much as she wants when you get home, it's no big deal :) Just keep an eye on her output.

  • That's very normal. I'm sure she made up for it when you got home, by nursing more then usual.
