Are you most productive before 9am?

I read a study in college that found that most people are most productive before 9am and I certainly fit the bill. For example, before 9am this morning, I had one load of laundry folded, 1 load of laundry washing, 1 load of laundry drying, I took a shower, gave the kids breakfast, packed my daughter's lunch and took her to school. Phew. How about you - are you the most productive in your day before 9am? Let's see how right or wrong this study was.

  • I am most productive from the time I wake up around 7am until about 1pm. Then it's all down hill from there. I have to get everything done in the morning or nothing will get done.

  • Absolutely NOT!!!! I am not productive until early afternoon. It is worse now that I can't lift over 5 lbs. Pretty much limits the activities I can do. Can't do laundry because I can't lift the baskets of clothes. Can't take out the garbage either.

  • Yep--I get up at 5am, shower, pray/read the bible, at 6am I start cooking breakfast, get dh and kids up, change babies diaper, get the kids dressed, feed them breakfast, make the baby a bottle, start a load of laundry, put my 4 yr old on the pre k van, clean up from breakfast, by now its 8 or 8:30 and thats when I start on the living room--dusting, vaccuming, ect. and then I finish up my laundry.
