Is this violating a restraining order?

I requested to be on a talk show to give my sons father a lie detector test because he lied to obtain a restraining order. They have to contact him to be on the show. Them contacting him would that be a violation on a restraining order?

  • Does the RO say you cannot contact him via 3rd party? But I don't think what you did a violation regardless...

  • It says no third party contact, but his mother has been contacting me via text and harrassing me, I don't know if a talk show would be considered third party.

  • Call the PD and ask

  • It shouldn't because even when it says no third party, it means you can't ask someone to give him a message from you. In this case, you are contacting a show and then they contact him to get his side of the story
