What are some good fruit combinations for home-made smoothies?

I usually just do strawberries, bananas, vanilla yogurt, and a dash of honey. Its getting a lil old, but I love smoothies especially during summer. What are some other delicious smoothies or recipes that are similar?? Thanks!

  • * 2 large, ripe bananas, sliced
    * 2 cups frozen sliced strawberries, slightly defrosted in microwave, just to break up the block a bit
    * 2 cups sliced frozen peaches, slightly defrosted in microwave, just to break up the block a bit
    * 2 cups strawberry banana lowfat custard yogurt
    * 2 cups milk

    Directions

    In half-batches, combine all ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth. The frozen fruits will make the smoothies extra cold and frothy, too!

  • sounds gross but it good I swear. banana, strawberry, vanilla yogurt and a dollop of peanut butter.

  • I like strawberries, bananas, kiwis, blueberries, bananas, pineapple, mango, peaches, and even grapes. Just usually toss in whatever fruits I have that I think will make a good combo, lol.. I add some ice, water, whatever type of juice I have, oatmeal, honey and a couple
    of sweet & low packets. Always delicious! Another combo I love is milk, ice, peanut butter, banana and some hot chocolate mix. Mmmm.. So good.

  • I've never had a bad combo. The things I pick randomly (I keep a stock of chunked fruit in my freezer): strawberries, bananas, kiwi, mango, peaches, pineapple, blueberries, and I can't remember what else we've had. I also like to add baby carrots, fresh spinach, and avocado. I never add dairy (yogurt, milk, etc - none of that) and I never use any kind of sweetener. Just the fruit & a little 100% orange or grape juice.

  • I love banana and fresh pineapple....yummy. And also orange with banana. I will buy frozen blackberries and mix those with yogurt. Gosh, I want a smoothie now.
