Infant carriers. Which one do you prefer?

I have an infant front carrier. (The one that holds your baby up against your body vertical.) I am very large chested, and the way the carrier holds the baby to me just makes it more difficult to carry the baby and hurts my back. I was wondering if the carrier that is more like a sling would be easier. Any suggestions on a carrier that might be easier for my body type?

  • For newborns, I prefer the moby style wraps, and once baby is about 15 lbs and up, I prefer a ring style sling. The front carriers (bjorn style) are horrible in my opinion, for your back, and for baby's hips.

  • Moby!!!! or if you are on a strict budget, you can make your own moby.

  • I have large breast and I used a double ring sling and really liked it. In retrospect I wish I had tried out a moby wrap it may have been a little better even.

  • I made my own Moby and used it until my son was about 18 months old. It was super comfortable.
