Have to do a side dish or two for a pot luck and I have a lot of carrots and onions. The problem is there are kids there that for some reason don't like them. (took 30 minutes to eat two slices.) What can I make that won't ruin the taste (like candying) but will be something they will eat?

  • Cook the carrots and put Honey & Butter or Butter and brown sugar on them to make a sweet sauce for them kinda like a thin candy sauce for them. Kids like that.

  • Gosh, I don't know what you could do unless you made a pasta salad of some type and put them in it. My kids love fruit and veggies of all kinds, I thought all kids did. Good luck I hope you find something.
