  • OMG! YES! I hate them! I always say mother or father. lol Sounds better I think. To me whenever people say that it means theres drama or something involved, lol idk sounds dumb, but I guess thats just what I relate it to bc of movies & stuff. LOL

  • Yes, it bothers me oh so much! I can't stand most slang, and that one automatically makes you think mommy was strung out on drugs and daddy is in the new term for white trash (not trying to offend anyone, thats just how the words are used here)

  • They are both on my growing list of terms I dislike... also on that list is "my old lady", "my lady", and "my old man". lol

  • It only bothers me when it's absolutely not true (i.e. they are actively involved, rather than just creating the child)...The terms get thrown around to every parent who has a child from a broken family, and it's not true...
