  • My oldest dd had a play pen(we couldn't afford a crib with our first child) so she slept in it every night and had no problems. My husband got a promotion to manager when I was preg with our 2nd so we could afford to buy a crib and a few extra nice things for her.

  • If you are at home, I'd suggest a toddler bed.. If you are talking about when you travel, they have toddler airbeds on Walmart.com (Cars, Toy Story, Princesses, Fairies)...I think at 2, they may be too old.

  • I tried putting her bed right beside me at night but she doesn't stay in it and will wonder and get in stuff so I keep her in the play pen to sleep our rooms not big enough for a crib too

  • If she has space, is sleeping well and it's generally working for her, sounds alright. What I suggest is making sure of the weight restrictions for the play pen. I'm sure that is alright for the moment but that could be a concern.

  • It's fine if she's happy there and until she gets too heavy for it.

  • I think it is okay just make sure she is not too heavy for it as that could cause a disaster.
