How do docs know how far along you are?

  • They calculate by the date of your last menstrul period

  • At the end of your pregnancy they can do an ultrasound to check on the calcification of the placenta. This will tell if their estimated gestational age is accurate as calculated by the date of your last menstrual cycle.

  • in the beginning they use ur last period, and early ultrasound to date the pregnancy
