Can you make cake without eggs?

I have a cake box but it calls for three eggs.

  • Not really...there are substitutes but they're weird things and it won't come out the same.

  • i never made one, i suppose you can try to make a cake with no eggs and see how it comes out!

  • You can sub a can of pumpkin for eggs and oil in any boxed cake recipe. Or apple sauce. Go to hungrygirl.com and they have recipes.

  • You can substitute 3/4 C applesauce, but it will come out more dense.

    You can substitute 1 pkg instant pudding + 2/3 C milk- again, it comes out more dense. But very moist.

    also
    1 can diet coke or diet pepsi

    I recommend it for a chocolate cake because it makes it more fudgey. It is low cal.
