Would you consider this name to be trendy?

Cooper? When I named my son that I had only heard of one Cooper. Now, sure enough, I'm starting to hear it more and more often. :sigh:

  • I can honestly say I do not know any children named Cooper. You must have started a trend where you live! It's a cute name!

  • I don't. I think it is probably a last name somewhere in their family history.

  • No I don't think it's a trendy name. I only know one person named Cooper and I went to school with him as a kid.

  • I haven't heard it at all.

According to was ranked the 92nd most popular name in 2008, so I wouldn't worry that it is too popluar. I like names that are in the 50-100 range for popularity personally.

  • Thanks! That's nice to hear. I really tried to stay away from trendy names. The only negative thing I've heard about the name is that people have known a lot of dogs named Cooper, lol. My other choice was Max and I heard the same thing for that. :)

I almost added a *did* know a few dogs named cooper but it didn't seem relevant and I didn't want to make you mad. lmao!! :0)
