  • Baby definetly is not ready before 36 weeks due to the lungs not fully developed, if I were you I would try to keep that baby in as close to 40 weeks as possible so that you know that you won't have any problems

  • It's possible If the baby isn't in danger you shouldn't risk it and only a doctor can decide if the baby is in danger or not. Full term is 37 weeks.

  • it really depends on how developed the baby's lungs are by that point. if ur doctor has a medical reason for inducing s/he probably thinks the baby is safer out than in. but if ur talking about inducing for the fun of it, u probably should wait cuz there is the chance the bayb will have to go to the nicu

  • No. Your baby may not, and most likely will not, be ok. Inducing is dangerous, and to induce that early is just plain irresponsible (barring medical problems). Lung development Might be ready at 36 weeks, but also may not be depending on how wrong you EDD is (which can be as much as 2-3 weeks).

    Normal gestation is 37-42 weeks.

  • also when u induce that early when ur not even dilated ur body probably isnt ready for labor and u have a way huge chance of ending up with a csection!!

  • Unless there is a medical need for it, the doctor most likely will not induce any earlier than 37 weeks. Thats the earliest that they can know almost for sure that your baby will be healthy enough to be born. I think you should wait until the 37 weeks mark, or until whenever the baby decides to come.
