  • Everything is so wide open and the cities (Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi) are all amazing. I live right in the middle of everything so we never have to worry about what to do and mini vacations are always a possibility!! I love how we have almost no snow and that winter doesn't last very long. I love Texas!

  • The only thing I like about Texas is that my youngest daughter was born there. Other than that, my favorite part was leaving there. Living there for 3 years was too long for me.

  • Pretty much, the no state income tax and the fact that aside from a few big cities it is a conservative state. I hate the weather and most of the big cities.

  • The unique shape of the state always makes it easy to identify on a map.
