The "link" between MMR and autism was FAKED for the sake of making money. It was based on ONE study on 12 children, who banded together and hired an attorney to find a doctor who would connect the two for the sake of a lawsuit. The doctor who made the connection has since had his medical license revoked.
Our son gets his vaccinations. I've studied human physiology, microbiology and immunology, and there is NO WAY IN HELL I wouldn't vaccinate. It's BECAUSE of vaccinations that our life expectancy has gone up, and we don't have these childhood diseases rampant in society anymore (though they're resurfacing thanks to lowered vaccination rates). We take for granted a world with low rates of preventable diseases.

I meant to say their parents banded together.
