Queston about acyrlic paint. .

i made a sheet baner .. . a banner out of an old sheet and painted on it with washable paint and with black acyrlic painted "welcome home daddy" on it..
its suppose to rain the day he comes home ad like 3 or 4 days after it..after i dont care but i wanted to put the banner up outside. its going to be under a carport but i do exspect it to get wet...
my question is...
will the paint run if i hang this outside and it rains?

  • It shouldn't as long as it is well dried paint.

  • No, acrylic paints are permanent and especially if you used washable paint. I used regular acrylic paints & made garden signs for my yard years ago & they never even faded.

  • the banners been drying for about 5 days now lol. i was just worried cause i let the kids paint on it with that crayola washable posted paint but its a sheet so i didnt think it would come never came out the clothes they were wearing. lol. but i was juuust checking : ) thanks
