What's some cheap ways to keep ur house cool?

What can we do to lower are cooling costs without running our a/c nonstop

  • I think keeping your blinds closed it a good idea. Also limit how many things you use that use heat. Such, as the coffee maker, blow dryers, computers, microwave and oven; just to name a few.

  • leave windows open all night if you can and then close them in the morning....trapping the cold air inside and close all shades and curtains... Do not ever use the stove or oven, it will heat up the house

  • Black out curtains and keep them closed, use your crockpot as much as possible, dry your clothes outside instead of using the dryer.

  • During the hotter parts of the day keep blinds closed so the sunshine cant get in to turn your house into an oven.

  • Also try to keep the doors all closed during the hottest part of the day so that heat cant get directly into your home.
