3D Ultrasound

I am getting an ultrasound Tuesday and I am getting a 3D one of my baby boy's face and I am putting that photo on the cake for my baby shower. I was wondering if anyone has had a 3D ultrasound and if it really looked just like their baby when they had him/her. I am so excited to see what my little man looks like, and the 3D ultrasound has me excited that I might get to see what he looks like a little bit early. If anyone has any 3D pictures they would like to post, that would be awesome as well.
Oh yeah, and Tuesday I will be 29 weeks.

  • I had it done and DD looked just like every other baby. The best part was we got to find out the sex early! I also really loved getting to see her move around. The 3D was like watching a video and it was so easy to see the baby and all her parts, compared to a regular ultrasound.

  • I had a 3D one done with both my 4th and 5th babies. It was amazing how much they looked alike even in utero - same cheekbones, same nose, etc. I loved it!
