Odd question: how long did it take you to push your child out?

For me, it took 12 mins. Every since then I've been having real sharp pains. Is it just me or it common to push a baby out that fast and still be hurting after 3 months. Keep in mind that I had cloud natural.

  • 40 minutes for my first - she was 8 lbs, 12 oz - two stitches - healed quick
20 minutes for my 2nd - he was 9 lbs, 8 oz. - no tearing
No pains after my uterus shrunk with either. Maybe you should call your doc just in case.

  • About 25 or 30 minutes. But I was pain free at about 4 weeks once my stitches healed. I never had pelvic pain other than light cramping when breast feeding, but that only lasted about a month to six weeks as well. I would ask a doctor??

  • sorry, hit post befroe I finished. you should probably ask your doctor.. I was still in pain for awhile though, a lot longer then my sisters and friends with kids.. I dont know if it had anything to do with how fast he came or not.. but it was a long few months.

  • 45 min with first
    about 20 with 2nd
    one push with 3rd.

I didn't have any lasting pain except a twinge every now and then from where I tore and had to get stitches!

  • It took about 20 minutes of pushing each time. But that was pushing from about 8cm. My body told me to push and I did.
