  • I really go crazy with impatiens. We have a shady yard and they do well. Also, coleous, and I have black eyed susans and lilies.

  • Marigolds. I do them every year because they are hardy and bloom all summer.

  • Begonias, marigolds, zinnias, dusty millers, impatiens, and coleuses - lots and lots of each. I plant the same annuals every year because those are the ones that I like and I know which plants work best for each flower bed I have.

  • I'm not much for flowers - I'll throw some marigolds around & between my veggies for bugs, and I have some tulips & lilies that come back every year. I haven't found a lot I can plant around my house due to sun/shade issues.

  • I plant morning glories, moonflowers and sunflowers as my only annuals. I have tons of perennials. Crocuses, tulips, daffodils and periwinkle in early spring. Roses, lillies, irises, violets, johnny jump ups, obedient flowers, daisies, black eyed susans, pholx and echinacea in the summer.
