  • My sister was induced and didn't have the baby for 3 days! It was a disaster. She had to have a c-section. I was induced at 10:00 am and had the baby at 4:00 pm.

  • It all depends on how ready your body is. I got started on meds @ 7:30am had my dd 1:28pm that same day. However, my sister had 36hrs of labor with my niece... It's way different for everyone.

  • Its different for everyone, just like labor is different for everyone.

  • It can anywhere from an hour to 27 hours like me or more when I got induced. It all depends on how your body cooperates and how high they crank that inducing drug up. You DONT want them cranking it up or you will go through hell, stand up in bed and in the devils own voice threaten everyone in ear shot to murder them where they stand, like I did because the pain was SOOO bad. The Dr at that points saw the level of the drug and said, :"OMFG!! You trying to kill them both" to the nurses in the room. Then I REALLY wanted to murder someone. I was screaming in tongues for hours before anyone looked at the IV amount.

  • Depends on the person. My sister was just induced with her first child a month ago. She was induced around 7-8 in the morning and had my neice at 11:45 pm the same night.

  • My first induction was 14 hours, my last induction started in the evening and I had her the next morning. It depends on how they are inducing you. They didn't even use pitocin last time. They just used the gel the night before, and broke my water in the morning. I preferred that induction over the other one.
