  • When it looks shabbier than my neighbors, but no set date. Usually mid April.

  • When the grass has grown to more than 3 inches high. Having a lawn height of at least 3 inches helps to prevent the growth of weeds & we don't need to water as often.

  • My DH mowed ours for the 1st time on Saturday. We have had so much rain so far this Spring that the grass grew pretty fast.
