  • I agree with 16. I didn't wear make-up until my senior year of high school.

  • My dd started wearing make up when she got into 6th grade, but not blush or any of that. Just lip gloss and sometimes some eye liner. She didnt start wearing make up like blush until she was in high school, but even then she was taken to a professional to teach her how to put it on without looking trashy. To this day I think I can count on my hands how many times shes worn blush lol.

  • I would say lip gloss about 12-13, full face make up? probably 16,, unless a special occasion of some sort.

  • My daughter was 16 as well . . . she wore light eye shadow and lip gloss, she used light mascara and that was about it. She did have a tinted moisturizer too. No blush or heavy colors though.

  • Girls are wearing make up in Jr High School. To get around letting them go crazy right then, we started slow. Just powder at first and then I let them build up a little in high School. As long as it was classy they didn't get much gruff from me.

  • I'd prefer never. But I suppose thats unrealistic. 16 I could agree with though.

  • Junior high age. If it makes them feel better about themselves then why not. Most girls that age are having skin issues and want to conceal breakouts.

  • Jr High (starting in 6th grade) my oldest daughter was allowed to wear lip gloss, mascara & eyeshadow... as long as it was "tasteful" By high school, she was allowed to wear eyeliner too. We still make sure, before she leaves to go ANYWHERE that it's not overdone. I've had to say something a few times & she knows it's not something I'll argue over or ALL make-up will disappear.
