  • Not til past 12 mos.

A small travel pillow about 17-19mos I think..... Ditto w/ the blankie. I would sometimes in the Summer drape a blanket OVER the crib (cage style) to keep out drafts from the A/C

  • They had a lovey blanket to cuddle but we didn't use blankets to cover or a pillow until they went into their twin beds at age 2 for oldest and 19 months for youngest. We used blanket sleepers on top of their pjs until then.

  • Once they were old enough to sit up and crawl. Doctor said it was ok at this point because if the blanket gets affects their breathing by getting over their face, they are coodinated enough to wake up and remove it themselves.

  • My DS has used a blanket since he was born and we started using a very small, flat pillow around a year when he had a nasty head cold and we wanted to help his breathing.

  • My son had a flat pillow around 10-11 months... we started to use a thin blanket around the the time he started crawling, which was 7 months because he didn't like the Halo type outfits anymore.

  • blankets at birth, pillows at 10-12 months. i first gave them the really small pillows like the square ones that look like they go on the couch... but in a fun kid theme... they were small enough so they couldnt get hurt but big enough to help there head.
