What can i use to subsitute...

Eggs while im making a cake?

i just got home and i have no eggs but i wanna bake a cake to take to my moms house for dinner tonight and the grocery store is not an option right now

what can i use to substitute eggs?

  • I have just plain old left them out in the past . . . .when we didn't have any. You need to be sure to add a little oil or mayo to keep the moistness.

  • If you have meringue powder you can use that. The baking substitution is on the canister.

  • a 1/2 cup of snow per egg when baking quick breads....but I'd use mayo.
