  • Have you tried pumping? Maybe he's not getting enough off the breast?

  • They sleep a lot at this age and since nursing is a comfort, they often fall asleep while nursing. What my nurse had me to with my dd was to uncover her feet and put mine or dh's cold hands on them when she would start to fall asleep so she would wake up and eat more. lol. It sounds mean, but then they actually get a whole feeding and can sleep well afterwards without waking to feed. Good luck. :)

  • I dont think its a supply issue, maybe he just is having a growth spurt? He eats himself into a milk coma everytime :) lol

  • It sounds to me like a growth spurt. My 19 month old is going through one now too lol. But the way you're describing it with him wanting to eat all the time and sleeping when he's not eating sounds alot like a growth spurt to me.
