3 Bumps

After giving birth

How long after giving birth did your cramping last?

I'm currently breastfeeding so I'm not having periods. However, my son is 3 months old and I have cramps from time to time. (Not the same as I contractions after having him from BF) Just curious because I want to be sure something else isn't going on. I was battling endometrosis for awhile before getting pregnant.

  • your uterus should be back to it's normal size between 4 and 6 weeks so something else is causing cramping. to be honest i only had cramping for a few days after

  • About 3 days for me, that was noticable. Everyone is different though.

  • they say your uterus should be back where it needs by 6 weeks, so i'd definitely at least try to speak with your ob/gyn to see what it might be. good luck!!!
