Is it selfish of me..?

To buy paper plates and cups and plastic silverware so I don't have to do the dishes so often?!?

Ugh! Getting so tired of constantly doing them.. & no.. I DON'T have a dishwasher!!

  • No, not selfish. I have friends who do that.

We don't because we're very environmentally conscious...especially DH. He hates wasting things & making more trash & using plastic ANYTHING.

  • I don't think its selfish. Perhaps you could at least get the sturdier plastic silverware and re-use them to cut back on un-necessary trash, but hey, we all have a lot of chores, work and stuff going on in our lives. Do what you gotta do!

  • Here is my honest opinion.... tacky.

I feel setting a proper table and having a proper meal is vital for children. There is something about a nicely set table that makes you feel welcomed, loved, important.

If I went to a friends home and they served me a sit down dinner with paper plates I would think that I didnt rate enough for the real dishes... I would feel that they didnt care much. WHY would you do that to your own family????

Is washing dishes really that difficult?????

    That is MY opinion.
