I can't stand poor grammar do you correct your teens grammar?

  • My teens have learned correct grammar from the start and haven't been allowed to lower themselves by speaking incorrectly.

  • Yup I corrected them and correct other peoples as well. How else will they learn and not sound stupid?

  • You got to correct very early on, this is why a good education from the start is a must, I never had to correct mine.

  • When it is appropriate to correct him. I have also repeated what he said inappropriate, in an appropriate way. But, appropriate English starts at home.

  • LOL I don't have to.  My 18 year old dd is a grammar nazi and has corrected her English teachers on numerous occasions.  She will be starting university in September and her major will be English.
