Hulled strawberries. WTHeck does that mean?

How do you hull a stawberry?

  • You are funny! Don't feel like an idiot. They like to trick you with saying something that makes it sound like you are going to be doing something serious to the strawberry. I find that a lot in cooking and baking!

  • It usually also includes the white part of the strawberry under the green stem, for small strawberries I would just stick a plastic straw thru the center of the strawberry

  • Cut the tops off, but you have to take the whole stem out. I usually just cut a small circle out the top with a knife.
