  • Im a sahm... so I will answer on behalf of my hubs...

    His job doesnt require him to be in the office on the weekend BUT if he has THAT much work then he goes in. I think it is almost MORE frustrating seeing your hubby go in when you know that he could very well be the ONLY one in the office that day.

    IF he had set hours, I think that would be easier to handle.

  • I used to work every Fri, Sat, Sun night for 12 hours. I lost my job in Sep. I worked that shift for 3 years. DH was able to work days M-F and we didn't need a babysitter.

  • I'm a nurse. I work 12hr shifts three days a week. Some of those days end up being weekends. Usually, I work two weekends a month.

  • I work Sunday mornings from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. That way I can still attend parties,church, family gatherings, etc.

  • I used to have jobs where I either worked on Saturday or Sunday. For the past few years, I've been fortunate to have regular workweek. I do, however, miss having a day off on a weekday to make appointments, run errads, etc.
