  • I find it disrespectful to call him by his first name. I was raised to respect the President of my country. May not agree, thats ok, but I call him by President Obama...Or President Regan...or President Roosevelt. My grand-daddy would haunt me if I did other wise. Just my thoughts.

  • It would be disrespectful to call him Barrack Hussein Bin Laden... calling him by his name isn't, imho - I don't call him Barrack, I usually say Obama. I'm not his fan but he DOES have my respect as the leader of my country. And NO I did NOT just call him Bin Laden - I'm saying calling him crazy stuff like that would be disrespect. I find it less disrespectful to say Barrack to call George W Bush "Dubya".

  • i dont think its disrespectful unless thats the persons intention. i think its more common now b/c his name is so unique, you know exactly who ppl are talking about when they say Barrack...not always the case with George, Bill, Jimmy, etc. now if they were calling him Barry i would think thats kinda disrespectful...kinda like calling Bush "Dubya"...like you know them on a personal level.
