Read a book or watch a movie??

Which do you find more enjoyable? This is a constant debate in my house because I'm an avid reader and my DH is not. His debate is how can you possible make the images in your head about what your reading as interesting as a movie. I tell him my imagination is better than any movie I've ever seen and when I read a good book I am totally emersed in a different world. He then makes a smart ass comment like then why don't you write books or make movies then.....ha ha

  • I agree with you on the imagination piece - way better than ANY movie that could be made. Books! books! books!

  • Because I like to read while lying down on the bed, heck yeah, If I can read, I'll read! I'd rather read the book first then see/critique the director's vision of the story.
