  • Hate to say this, but have your had her checked for Auttism. They often run into things, fall alot and are quite clumsy. A child can appear normal in many ways and still be slightly autistic.

  • Hmmm, I did that when I was about 3-4 years old and I had to get glasses. He may need to get his eyes checked.

  • Get her eyes checked. If she can't see well, that's a good reason that she's running into things. It wouldn't hurt to have the ears checked either. Some people have balance problems related to the inner ear.

  • My dd did that when she was about 6 but she stopped. I don't know what it was but her's went away. It won't hurt to ask the doctor and have her checked out if it continues

  • We started taking our DD to the chiropractor. She'll be 6 this summer and she's been going for almost 3 years, specifically for balance help. She (the chiro) pops her toes & ears, besides the normal stuff. It really helps! After about 6 weeks, she'll start stumbling more, running into things more, etc, and we know it's time to go back. I will say that as she's getting older we are able to go a little longer between adjustments, so hopefully that means she's aging out of it. But I highly recommend taking her to a chiro, especially if you can find one who specializes in pediatrics! And what's nicer is our insurance pays for at least part of her visits, if not all!

  • I'm with pp, eye issues or inner ear problems (fluid in the ears, etc) I don't know how your school does their screenings, but generally they are no substitute for care from a physician
