What should be the gap of feeding a 6monts old baby? i mean every 2 hours, 3 hours or 1 1/2 hors?? Pls help?

  • It differs per child, the best way to figure it out is just pay attention to your child's behavior. Babies have different types of cries for different needs. A wet diaper cry sounds different than a hungry cry or a sleepy cry, and once you can tell the difference you just have to pay attention to how often your child is crying for food and you'll start to notice patterns in how often they are hungry. If you can't tell the difference in the cries right away, just go down the checklist and use the process of elimination to figure out what your child needs. First check the diaper, then offer a bottle/breast/food, then try burping or of those things will almost always do the trick! Good luck :)

  • No timing. Feed when baby is hungry. You eat when you're hungry, right? Scheduling feeds can become a real problem.
