What do you do when your toddler has tantrums?

My 2 yr old has these tantrums(i call them wack attacks lol) all the time. I lot of times I say with a firm voice GET UP NOW and he does.or I just ignore him and after awhile he realizes I'm not paying him any attention he'll get up and look for me, If he's acting like a complete brat he gets popped sometimes.

How do you deal with you little ones tantrums?

  • I send her to her room. She can have a fit all she wants but I don't have to listen to it.

  • I ignore them until they stop, if they're really being a brat they get a time out in their corner. If we're in the store or something they get warned once to stop and if they don't then we leave if possible and next time they get left at home with daddy, and they hate being left at home if I'm going somewhere.

  • I make DD sit in time out until she is done throwing a fit. She usually apologizes when she gets done, and tell me she's "sorry for being a brat." lol

  • I just walk away. Performing is no fun without an audience.

  • I would ignore them or put them in their rooms. Told them when they were done throwing a fit, they could come out of their room
