Today is a really hard day for me. 11 years ago my baby daughter Caitlin was stillborn at 34 weeks.

It gets a bit easier as the years pass, but today is always a little rough on me. It never fails. year after year the only family member who remembers this day is my cousin Mandy, bless her heart. Every year she gives me a condolence card. The fact that no one remembers breaks my heart. She wasn't a miscarriage, she was 34 weeks along....She could have made it.

  • I had a stillborn baby girl at 38 weeks just over a year ago in January. The whole pregnancy was healthy so it was certainly devastating. It's almost saddening to go through such heartbreak and feel alone. It feels like it was just yesterday. But Not even my parents remembered. I think the only one who did was my younger brother, he wrote a poem to share with me. My fiancé of course remembered but I know he goes through his emotions at different times.
Just remember the bond you had with your daughter is something you will always carry. So no one may remember or even feel like you do, because she was part of you, your very own angel, & she will always be in your heart.
God bless and comfort you, today and every day.

  • Tears in my eyes for you and your angel. You should do something positive every year on this day to honor her and release your sadness. Maybe painting a piece every year dedicated to her or releasing balloons. Take it easy for your health. Have a blessed day.
