Buying groceries and household goods online?

I was in an accident a while back and no longer drive. Now my doctor has diagnosed me with that nasty Fibromyalgia (very painful) so I can't carry groceries home from the store a mile away anymore. I've even tried a rolling backpack but that hurts, too. So it's been suggested to try buying stuff online. I just ordered from www.alice.com and some things from www.walmart.com to see how well that works but need a site for buying groceries online where they deliver. Publix has a thing where you can order on line but pick them up. I can't do that. I know most places online probably won't send fresh or frozen food but thought maybe staples and canned goods might be available. Anyone here have a good experience finding something like that? Thanks.

  • Try netgrocer.com and schwans.com

But also call your local grocery store. They may be able to set you up with a running account where you just stop in the store to ick out and pay for your groceries but then have them delivered. I know Dominicks does that around here.

  • Not sure on frozen items, but Melaleuca is the best online grocery store. They have awesome, safe, all-natural products at inexpensive prices and deliver right to your door.
