My water is off... they don't have to warn to neighborhood or what?

All of a sudden I have no water out of the faucets. Why? It's a house, not an apt. So what do I do?

Yes, my bill is paid.

  • Maybe a line busted and they had to turn it off. Call your water company.

  • I would call your company. Usually if they are doing some work they will let everyone know

  • Call the water company. They would notify if it was a planned thing, but if a line broke or there was some other emergency they could not have possibly notified everyone beforehand.

  • We had the problem a couple summers ago when they were repaving out street. They shut down the water without warning. I was so nervous that I missed the bill, lol.

  • Depends on the city but no if it is emergency and is not going to be off for long they do not notify.
