  • Buy a new cheap flushing unit and replace it. They can be bought for cheap at Wal-Mart. It's SUPER easy to replace and will solve your problems. I have replaced mine and my moms before.

  • I had to turn the water off to my toilet for a couple hours (turn to left to turn water off, I believe). It happened to me when hub was deployed, and I freaked out about it :/

  • The "flapper" needs either replaced or cleaned.
Its the thing inside the tank that fits over the hole where water comes into toilet.
Turn water off. Flush. Pull "flapper" up, but dont pull off. Take some paper towels and clean it off. (it gets gunky). I then put a thick layer of pet. jelly to cover the lip. Put it back down. Turn on water.... let it fill and try to flush.
If that doesnt work, flapper prob needs replaced.

If thats all plumbers did, I'd be a PRO!
